Empowering Therapists for Success:

With an unwavering commitment to nurturing the growth of associate mental health therapists until they achieve licensure, I bring a wealth of education, experience, and passion to the field. My journey began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from the University of Phoenix in 2011, providing me with a solid foundation in understanding the diverse needs of individuals and communities.

Building upon this foundation, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Los Angeles, which concluded in 2013. This advanced education equipped me with a deep understanding of therapeutic interventions, especially within the context of relationships and family dynamics.

Having obtained licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT112939) in 2019, I possess the necessary qualifications to guide and mentor aspiring therapists on their transformative journey to becoming licensed and well-rounded clinicians. With 11 years of experience in the human and social services field, my professional journey has been marked by a commitment to inclusivity, with a focus on diverse groups such as women, couples, survivors of domestic violence, and foster youth.

My passion for the work extends to Spanish-speaking men and women, recognizing the unique challenges they face due to language barriers. Drawing on personal experiences and cultural understanding, I am dedicated to bridging the gap and providing support to this community in navigating life’s challenges.

Within the therapeutic realm, my commitment is reflected in a diverse set of treatment areas. I specialize in addressing depression, recognizing it as a pervasive challenge that demands empathetic and evidence-based interventions. Additionally, my expertise extends to self-esteem boosting, fostering confidence, and improving optimism, which are essential elements for overall mental well-being.

In the domain of marriage and couples counseling, I provide tailored guidance to clinicians, drawing from my specialized training and wealth of practical experience. The complexities of relationships are navigated with empathy, skill, and a focus on fostering positive and lasting change.

Treatment modalities form a crucial aspect of my mentorship, encompassing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Eclectic Therapies. Associate Therapists are equipped with a versatile toolkit, enabling them to tailor interventions to the unique needs of their clients.

In conclusion, my role as a mentor and guide for associate mental health therapists is fueled by a profound passion for the transformative potential of therapeutic work. With a rich educational background, extensive professional experience, and a commitment to cultural competence, I look forward to utilizing my skills to help clinicians achieve their desired goals, fostering a new generation of competent and compassionate licensed therapists.
